Transit Centers/Park & Ride Lots
LADOT plans, constructs and manages multi-modal transit centers and park & ride lots to encourage transit use and reduce travel by automobile.

LA County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (METRO)
Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is unique among the nation’s transportation agencies. It serves as transportation planner and coordinator, designer, builder and operator for one of the country’s largest, most populous counties. More than 9.6 million people – nearly one-third of California’s residents – live, work, and play within its 1,433-square-mile service area.

DOT Dash Buses
DASH is a convenient and low cost local shuttle bus service that operates in Downtown Los Angeles and in twenty-five (25) communities throughout the City.

Commuter Express Buses
Commuter Express provides limited stop freeway express service between suburban residential areas and major employment areas including Downtown Los Angeles.

Bike Racks on City Buses
Most Commuter Express buses are fitted with racks. Just pay your regular fare and you can load your bicycle in the rack on the front of the bus for free. All the bike racks have simple instructions posted on them. The bicycle racks are designed to hold each bicycle separately in place by a spring-loaded clamp.
