LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is The US Green Building Council's rating system that measures how well a building or community performs in energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.

Mid-Rise Guidance for California 2008 - updated 8/20/2008
This document is the complete rating system to be used by LEED for Homes projects in California with four to six above-grade conditioned floors and also meet other Mid-Rise rating system eligibility requirements (see document). Use this document in place of the LEED for Homes national rating system and California addendum for all Mid-Rise projects.

CIR & ID Database - updated 4/09/2009
This document contains summaries of Credit Interpretation Requests (CIRs) and Innovation and Design (ID) reviews from the USGBC for LEED for Homes projects. This document can provide guidance to project teams on prerequisites and credits, but the ID credit responses are not to be considered a pre-approved for credit in new projects. ID credits are only available if confirmed by the USGBC on a case-by-case basis for registered projects.
